The majority of Demon Deacons find community and a sense of satisfaction while getting involved at Wake Forest (2023 Campus Engagement Assessment). Our goal is to ensure that the pursuit of belonging for all of our students is one that is safe, healthy and productive. To meet this goal means creating a campus community without hazing!

- 69% of students participating in student activities reported awareness of hazing activities occurring in student organizations other than their own.
- 47% of students coming to college have experienced hazing.
- Wake Forest University prohibits all forms of hazing which may result in physical and psychological harm to a person.
